چکیده
Introduction: Myocardial ischemia due to coronary obstruction and reperfusion the opening of vessel occurring in acute stage myocardial infarction leads lethal arrhythmia sudden death humans. That is why pharmacological drug research decrease these arrhythmias have been researched intensively. In this study, effect administration pinacidil glimepride, on or reperfusion-induced was aimed be researched. Methods: Two groups were produced; first group, only produced by ligation left artery 20 minutes, second group 6 minutes subsequent 15 occluded artery. Drugs administered intravenously at 2 just following group. The ECG blood pressure recorded during reperfusion. type, duration, incidence arrhythmia, heart rate, pressure, rate from recording determined. All data compared one-way ANOVA. Then, with their control, control each other a one-tailed student t-test. between Ki square test. Results: Pinacidil significantly decreased score both period but glimepiride not effective when they given Discussion Conclusion: This study suggests that might candidate for drugs can used more needed reveal antiarrhythmic proarrhythmic glimepride infarction.

The effects of ATP-dependent potassium channel opener; pinacidil, and blocker; glibenclamide, on the ischemia induced arrhythmia in partial and complete ligation of coronary artery in rats
Objective(s): Electrical inhomogeneity between ischemic and non ischemic myocardium is the basis of arrhythmia which occurs following coronary artery occlusion. The leakage of potassium from the ischemic region to the non ischemic region is very effective in the generation of these arrhythmias. The aim of this study is to research the effect of ATP-dependent potassium (KATP) channel blocker (gl...

متن کاملEffects of calcium channel blocker, mibefradil, and potassium channel opener, pinacidil, on the contractile response of mid-pregnant goat myometrium.
The present study was undertaken to investigate the in vitro influence of mibefradil, a calcium channel blocker, and pinacidil, a potassium channel opener, on pregnant goat myometrial spontaneous rhythmic contractility and contractions induced with the agonist, oxytocin. Longitudinal strips from the distal region of uterus, collected from goats at midgestation, were mounted in an organ bath for...
متن کاملMechanism of acceleration of functional reentry in the ventricle: effects of ATP-sensitive potassium channel opener.
BACKGROUND The effect of effective refractory period (ERP) shortening on the vulnerability and characteristics of induced functional reentry in the ventricle remain poorly defined. We hypothesized that ERP shortening increases ventricular vulnerability to reentry and accelerates its rate, as is the case in the atrium. METHODS AND RESULTS The epicardial surfaces of 19 isolated and superfused c...
